Junior Achievement of South Central Kentucy Presents J.A. Girls Sponsored by the J.M. Smucker Company
Press Release:
Scottsville, Kentucky– Junior Achievement of South Central Kentucky is excited to host J.A. Girls, presented by The J.M. Smucker Company. This inspiring event will take place at the Allen County Extension Office on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, and will empower approximately 50 middle school girls from James E. Bazzell Middle School through hands-on learning and mentorship.
The mission of J.A. Girls is to help girls and young women prepare for economic success by providing meaningful, hands-on experiences that celebrate their perspectives, strengths, and unique journeys. Through engaging activities and discussions, students will explore topics such as crafting an elevator pitch, networking with confidence, navigating the do’s and don’ts of interviewing, making smart social media choices, finding healthy ways to cope with mental health challenges and creating a personal vision board for their future.
This special event is built on Junior Achievement’s philosophy of connecting young ladies with local mentors from their community who bring their real-world experiences and challenges to strengthen and empower the next generation. Together, they’ll focus on entrepreneurship, workforce readiness, and financial literacy, all while encouraging young ladies to dream big and believe in their full potential.
We invite local media to join us on the day of the event to capture photos and videos of this empowering experience in action.
