Sandwiched between the wins was a 2-0 (25-18, 25-21) loss to Monroe County. Despite eight kills from Duncan, 17 assists and eight digs by Tabor, and five kills from Faith Schaberg, the Lady Falcons pulled away from AC-S in both sets to claim the win.

AC-S (19-18) entered District play this week. The Lady Patriots faced the Barren County Trojanettes on Monday. An AC-S win would move the team into Tuesday’s championship against the winner of the Warren East/Glasgow match. A Monday win also assures AC-S a trip to the Region 4 tournament for a 13th consecutive year. The Region 4 tournament starts Monday, Oct. 28 at Metcalfe County. Depending on the draw, the Lady Patriots would play either Monday or Tuesday nights. Follow AC-S Sports on Twitter or Facebook for updates.
