AC-S Places Six on Region 4 All-Season Teams

Six Allen County-Scottsville Lady Patriot softball players are First and Second Team selections to the 2025 All-Region Softball First and Second teams.
Selected by region coaches to the First Team All-Season team are senior outfielder Ally Anderson and sophomore pitcher Brooklyn Oliver. Anderson–bound for college softball at Bryan College–batted .457 in 31 games for the Lady Patriots. Anderson led AC-S with 48 hits in 105 at-bats, ripped eight doubles and five triples. Oliver was 11-3 in the circle, threw 81.2 innings, struck out 88 batters, and finished with an ERA of 1.97.
Second Team All-Region selections were senior infielder Jacie Rice, freshman catcher Maddie Gray, sophomore infielder Payton Hopkins, and sophomore outfielder Kinsley Byrn. Rice batted .489, recorded 45 hits, and led the squad with 40 RBIs and 14 doubles. Gray batted .398 and belted 10 home runs. Hopkins hit .480 while leading the team with a school-record 12 home runs. Hopkins also scored a team-high 43 runs. Byrn hit .382 in 29 games.
The six selections helped lead AC-S to a 26-5 worksheet.
