Jana Lynn Hurt Harston (1955 – 2026)

Jana Lynn Hurt Harston, a Scottsville native, died March 10, 2026 in Charlotte, N. C.

Jana was born May 29, 1955 in Scottsville, Ky., to Billy Wayne Hurt and Jeanne Albright Hurt, who preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by her brother, Todd Hurt.

Jana is survived by her husband, Dr. Phillip Reed Harston; son, Dr. Drew Harston and his wife, Rev. Dr. Carol Harston; grandsons: James, Collier and Walter Harston; and sister Julie Hurt.

A time of visitation will be held at Scottsville Baptist Church on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 10 a.m. until noon.
