Martha Jane Hill (1944 – 2026)

Martha Jane Hill, 81, of Scottsville, Ky., passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Greenwood Nursing & Rehab.  She was a homemaker and member of Martinsville Baptist Church where she served as a former Sunday School teacher and pianist. She was a daughter of the late Houston Smith and Lena Meeks Smith and wife of the late Bobby Kenneth Hill.

She is survived by three sons: Alan Hill and wife, Carla, Oakland, Ky.; Todd Hill and wife, Dawn, Nashville, Tenn. and Jamie Hill and wife, Keri, Scottsville; one sister, Rachel Pearson; four grandchildren:  Heather Clark (Wes), Taylor Dinkins (Dustin), Baylee Patrick (Danny Ray) and Haven Hill three great grandchildren: Elliott Dinkins, Tinslee Dinkins and Lainey Patrick and one unborn great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by two great grandsons and seven brothers and sisters.

Funeral service was 1 p.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Lawrence officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.
