Dwight Paul Wingfield (1953 – 2024)

Dwight Paul Wingfield, 71, of Springfield, Tenn., passed away Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024 at Tri-Star North Crest Medical Center in Springfield.  The Scottsville, Ky., native was a retired concrete mason and a son of the late Wendell Wingfield and Edna Earl Bessinger Wingfield.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Wingfield, Springfield; one son, Dwight Wingfield; three daughters: Crystal Williams (Vernon); Wendy Osburn (Wes), Etoile, Ky.; Jessica Dean (Jay), Bowling Green, Ky.; one step son, Daryl Bartsch (Pauline), Tampa, Fla.; two sisters: Kathy Jarvis, Russellville, Ky. and Kay Howell (Jr.), Franklin, Ky.; 10 grandchildren: Mac Ward (Tyler), Violet Williams, Erin Scott (Joe), Ethan Osburn, Star Cabrera (Hector), Skyann Towe, Jordan Dean, Journey Dean, Ranger Dean and Jackson Dean; five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Wingfield and two sisters: Sandra Louise Wingfield and Wilma Christine Wingfield.

There will be no visitation or funeral service.  Cremation was chosen. Goad Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
