Genece Faye Hopkins (1961 – 2024)

Genece Faye Hopkins, 63, of Edmonton, Ky., passed away Monday, Oct. 28, 2024 at her residence. The Tompkinsville, Ky., native was a homemaker and a daughter of the late Wilson Dismon and Naomi Lucille Eaton Cross.

She is survived by one son, Timothy Wayne Hopkins, Scottsville, Ky.; one daughter: Tonya Bailey-Long, Adairville, Ky.; two brothers: Tony Christmas, Edmonton and Wendell Thompson, Scottsville; one sister: JoAnna Bilbrey, Scottsville; three grandchildren; two great grandsons.

She was preceded in death by a great grandson and two brothers.

A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024 at Fountain Run Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Cremation was chosen and Goad Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
