Jerry Walker Herrington (1943 – 2024)

Jerry Walker Herrington, 81, of Adolphus, Ky., passed away Friday, Nov. 8, 2024 at his residence.  The Adolphus, Ky., native was a farmer and a son of the late Benjamin Gobel Herrington and Etta Belle Hinton Herrington.

He is survived by eight nephews: Chuck Herrington (Carrie) and Jeff Stillwell (Sheila), all of Scottsville, Ky.; Todd Herrington, Lafayette, Tenn.; Ben Stillwell (Tina), Westmoreland, Tenn.; Phillip Stillwell (Melissa), Alvaton, Ky.; Ronnie Stillwell (Stephanie) and R.V. Stillwell (Amy), all of Bowling Green, Ky.; John Herrington (Ellen), Roseville, Mich.; three nieces: Darla Thompson (Anthony), Scottsville; Carol Sue Major (Emil), Wolverine, Mich. and Shirley Keyes, New Baltimore, Mich.; one sister-in-law: Doris Herrington, Scottsville; several great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: Bobby G. Herrington and J.C. Herrington; one sister, Lillile B. Wood and one niece: Charlotte Jordan.

Funeral service was 1 p.m. Monday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Meador officiating and burial in Walkers Chapel Cemetery.
