Mallie Jane Meador Henson (1947 – 2024)

Mallie Jane Meador Henson, 77, of Scottsville, Ky., passed away Wednesday, Nov.27, 2024 at Cal Turner Rehab and Specialty Care. The Scottsville native was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom and attended Gloryland Gospel Church. She was daughter of the late Raymond Boyd Meador and Ruby Dell Richardson Meador.

She is survived by one daughter, Leslie Williams (Daniel), Scottsville; one brother: Felbert Meador (Sandy), Scottsville; two sisters: Joyce Scott (Donnie) and Brenda Qualls, all of Scottsville; one grandson, Sterling Williams; special grandchildren: Joe Holman and Amy Holman and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers: John Meador, Coy Lee Meador, Tommy Meador and infant, Willie Boyd Meador and five sisters: Carolyn Sisco, Earline Wade, Aline Woods, Shirley Hogue and infant, Valinda Lou Meador.

Funeral service was 2 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Calvert officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.
