Jack D. Cook (1943 – 2024)

Jack D. Cook, lovingly called HOTTEA, 81, of Plainfield, Ind., passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024 at Millers Merry Manor in Mooresville, Ind. He was a son of the late Okla Cecil Cook and Addie Carleen Graves Cook.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Shirley A. Cook, Plainfield;one son, James Douglas Cook, Plainfield; two daughters: Barbara Weatherington, Huntington, Ind.; Carleen Nichols, Plainfield; a daughter-in-law, Sandy Cook, Cloverdale, Ind.; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren:

He was preceded in death by one son: John Davis Cook; one brother: Billy Cook; three sisters: Margaret Calvert, Sue Miller and Betty Manuel.

Funeral service was noon Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with burial in Union Chapel Cemetery.
