Ray Neal (1944 – 2024)

Ray Neal, 80, of Fountain Run, Ky., passed away Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.

The Woodbury, Tenn., native was an employee of Securitas Security, former employee of Dollar General, Kentucky Apparel and Colonial Industries, a Viet Nam U.S. Army veteran and member of Holland Missionary Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Herman C. Neal and Reba Mae Gunter Neal.

He is survived by his wife, Crystal Todd Neal, Fountain Run;two daughters: Debbie Neal Hall (Randy), Fountain Run; Katrinka Neal Turner (Patrick), Elkton, Ky.; four grandchildren: Laura Hall (Josh); Eric Bewley; Amy Russell (Mark) and Hannah Turner; five great grandchildren: Landon Bromwell, Sydney Bromwell, Emma Bewley, Lucas Francis and Noah Francis.

Funeral service was 11 a.m. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Ausbrooks officiating and burial in Fountain Run Cemetery with military honors by Glasgow D.A.V. Chapter 20.
