Lavene (England) Ford (1950 – 2024)

Lavene (England) Ford, 74, of Tompkinsville, Ky., passed away Sunday, Dec. 15, suddenly at her home.

Lavene was a daughter of the late Frances (Brown) and John “Frank” England.

Lavene is survived by her husband, Charlie Ford; a daughter, Helen Ford, of Edmonton, Ky. and grandson, Alex Caffee; two brothers, Paul England, Hestand, Ky. and John England, of Gamaliel, Ky.; sisters, Glaydean Hopkins, Tompkinsville, Sue England, Glasgow, Ky. and Carol Brynteson, Minnesota, and brother-in-law, Randy Page, Tompkinsville.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Channie Lee Page and a brother, Willie England.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19 at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow at Mt. Poland Cemetery.
