Vernie May (Chandler) Arnett (1934 – 2024)

Vernie May (Chandler) Arnett, 90, of Tompkinsville, Ky., passed away Saturday, Dec. 28, at Monroe County Medical Center.

Vernie was a daughter of the late Cuba Francis (Strode) and John Chandler.

She was the wife of the late Ezra Truman Arnett.

Vernie is survived by two sons: Jason Arnett and John Arnett, both of Tompkinsville and three grandchildren.

Other than her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Pernie Chandler.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31 at Yokley Trible Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Freedom no. 2 Cemetery.
