Richard Buchanan (1961 – 2025)

Richard Buchanan, 63, of Scottsville, Ky., passed away Monday, Jan. 13, 2025 at his residence. The Gallatin, Tenn., native was a son of the late Bobby Lee Buchanan and Faye Driver Buchanan.

He is survived by one son, Joe Buchanan, Scottsville; one sister, Connie Woodard, Lafayette, Tenn.; two grandchildren: Austin Buchanan and Aaliyah Buchanan; three nieces: Cassie Anderson, Christy Jones and Jessica Moss; seven great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Buchanan Jr.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation was chosen and Goad Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
