Jennie Nell Motley (1941 – 2025)

Jennie Nell Motley, 83, of Scottsville, Ky., passed away Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025 at The Medical Center at Scottsville. She was a former employee of Scotscraft and Allen County Intermediate Center. Jennie was saved at age 10 at Mt. Union Methodist Church. She was a daughter of the late Cordell King and Clida Lurel Bonds King and wife of the late Colin Motley.

She is survived by two sons: Chris Motley and wife, Sheila, and Scott Motley and companion, Becky, all of Scottsville; one grandson, Daniel Motley and wife, Whitney.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Debbie Lynn King and two brothers, Glen King and J. L. King.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2025 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Maxie McGuffey officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 7 a.m. Friday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
