Gerald Edward Ryan Jr. (1957 – 2025)

Gerald Edward Ryan Jr., 68, of Tompkinsville, Ky., passed away Thursday, Feb. 20, at Norton’s Hospital in Louisville, Ky.

Gerald was a son of Norma Gertrude Chiappa and the late Gerald Edward Ryan Sr.

Gerald is survived by his wife, Loretta Ryan, Tompkinsville; mother, Norma Gerturde Chiappa, Middletown, Ohio; a daughter, Jennifer M. Ward, Centerville, Ohio; two sons: Gerald E. Ryan III, Indiana and Jacob Matthew Tyler Ryan,Tompkinsville; four step sons: Steven Botts, Tompkinsville; Eric Cain, Tompkinsville; Scott Botts, Tompkinsville; Bradley Botts, Centerville, Ohio; 24 grandchildren and one great grandchild; two sisters and two brothers.

Other than his father, he is preceded in death by a brother, Richard Grosse.

Cremation was chosen and a family service will be held later. Arrangements under the Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
