Norma Jean McClard (1933 – 2025)

Norma Jean McClard, 91, of Scottsville, Ky., passed away Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025 at Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care. The Scottsville native was a retired employee of 29 years of Allen County War Memorial Hospital and Medical Center at Scottsville, a member of East Willow Church of God where she served as Treasurer for 45 years and Missionary leader. She was a daughter of the late Luke Ray and Lois Dean Raney Ray and wife of the late Richard Cleo McClard.

She is survived by one son: Larry McClard and wife, Janice, Scottsville; one sister-in-law, Bonnie Ray, Scottsville; two grandchildren: Leslie McClard Smothers and husband, Jim, Bowling Green, Ky.; Lyle McClard and wife, Alex, Nashville, Tenn.; two great grandchildren: Drew Smothers and Graham Smothers and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers: Billie Ray and Charles Ray and one nephew, Chris Ray.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at East Willow Church of God with Bro. Danny Patrick and Bro. Keith Patrick officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens.
