Dr. Richard Lewis Towe (1944 – 2025)

Dr. Richard Lewis Towe, 80, of Franklin, Ky., passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.

Funeral service was held at Calvary Baptist Church, Saturday, March 1 at 2 p.m. at the church with interment in Greenlawn Cemetery, Franklin.

Dr. Towe was a son of the late Edward Jackson “Jack” Towe and the late Marjorie Catherine (Simmons) Towe.

He is also preceded in death by his wife, Suzanne Towe; a granddaughter; two siblings.

He is survived by three children,:Andrea McGregor, Kansas City, Kan., Charles Towe, Charleston, S.C. and Todd Towe, Franklin; seven grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory.
