Mary Lou Sullivan Christison (1948 – 2025)

Mary Lou Sullivan Christison, 76, of Adolphus, Ky.,., passed away Monday, March 17, 2025 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Scottsville, Ky., native was a former R.N. for the Allen County Health Department and Barren River District Health Department, former bus driver for the Allen County School System, former substitute teacher at Allen County Scottsville High and member of Maple Grove General Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late King Wilson Sullivan Jr. and Ella Davola Eakle Sullivan.

She is survived by one son, Jason Andrew Christison and wife, Melissa, Pace Fla.; two brothers: Jerry Sullivan, Adolphus and David Sullivan and wife, Betty, Scottsville; one sister, Martha Rich, Adolphus; four grandchildren: Lindsey Christison, Lainey Christison, Christina Longan and Amanda Longan; four great grandchildren: Teaghan Longan, Gibson Lewis, Jackson Liveley and Piper Pulliam.

She was preceded in death by a great grandson, Carter Longan; one brother, Leroy Sullivan and two sisters: Betty Dinkins and Mildred Spears Pardue.

A memorial service was 1 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Sullivan officiating and burial in Maple Grove Cemetery.
