Michael Joseph Bachschmidt (1958 – 2025)

Michael Joseph Bachschmidt, 66, of Scottsville, Ky., passed away Monday, April 21, 2025 at his residence. The Flint, Mich., native was a son of the late Robert Ernest Bachschmidt and Doris Ursula Rowe Battle.

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Mayes Bachschmidt, Scottsville; two daughters: Christina Bachschmidt Thomas, Scottsville; Amanda Jeanne Youngblood, Adolphus, Ky.; one son, Robert Brandon Sanspree, Bowling Green, Ky.;two sisters: Michelle Bachschmidt Fountain, Davie, Fla.; Linda Tyner, Orlando, Fla.; three grandchildren one unborn granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by one son and two brothers.

A celebration of life was 1 p.m. Saturday at White Plains Baptist Church with Ken Vinson officiating.
