Arthema Jewell Williams Carter (1933 – 2025)

Arthema Jewell Williams Carter, 91, of Scottsville, Ky., passed away Saturday, May 10, 2025 at Hospice House in Bowling Green, Ky.  The Scottsville native was a daughter of the late Oska Williams and Susie Elizabeth Williams and wife of the late Roger Gray Carter.

She is survived by one son, Eric Carter, Alvaton, Ky.; one daughter: Angela C. Marr and husband, Don, Bowling Green, Ky.; five grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Janet Gale Carter and one brother, Kelly Williams.

Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Trey Harper officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.
