Jeffrey Scott Witt (1959 – 2025)

Jeffrey Scott Witt, 65, of Scottsville, Ky., passed away Friday, May 30, 2025 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.  He was born in Indianapolis, Ind., to the late Aubrey Wilson “Dick” Witt and Dorothy Priscilla Buchanan Witt.  He was a former building contractor and U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his companion,  Hope Dill and her daughter, Emily, Scottsville; one son:  Josh Witt and wife, Elizabeth, Scottsville; one daughter,  Meggan Oberg and husband, Robert, Bowling Green, Ky.; two brothers:  Joe Witt and wife, Debbie, Scottsville and Dwight Witt, Martinsville, Ind.; three sisters:  Lisa Guerrero, Center, Ky.; Janie Davis, Peoria, Ariz. and Jackie Headlee, Indianapolis, Ind.; five grandchildren:  Rebecca Oberg, Mycle Thomas, Autumn Witt, Jacob Witt and Lillian Witt; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a daughter,  Brianna Witt; two sisters:  Phyllis Bridges and Ann Deal; two brothers:  Mike Witt and Charles Witt.

Funeral service was 2 p.m. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Wells officiating and burial in New Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
