Nancy Faye (Hendrix) Hawkins (1944 – 2025)

Nancy Faye (Hendrix) Hawkins, 81, of Camby, Ind., passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025. The Scottsville, Ky., native was a daughter of Marshall Lee and Murial Christine (Bessenger) Hendrix.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald H. Hawkins, Camby; two sons: Mark Wallace, Crawfordsville, Ind. and James Hawkins Plainfield, Ind.; one daughter, Wendi Whiting, Brownsburg Ind.;12 grandchildren; and four siblings: Pat Francis, Richard Hendrix, Allen Hendrix, and Marcia Carter, all of Kentucky.

She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Follis, Bud and Donald Hendrix; and one sister, Ann Shockley.

A celebration of life service was held. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service in Mooresville.
