James Darrell Jackson (1963 – 2025)

James Darrell Jackson, 62, of Tompkinsville, Ky., passed away Sunday, Aug. 3, at his home.

Darrell was a son of the late Freida Carol (Walker) and James Jackson.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sherrye Jackson, Tompkinsville; four daughters: Lesley Jackson, Tompkinsville;  Lisa  Jackson, Tompkinsville; Hannah  Foust, Scottsville, Ky.;  Mary  Jackson, Tompkinsville;  two sons: Timmy Jackson, of Tompkinsville;  Alan Jackson, Wisconsin; 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren; a sister, Judy Pennington, Tompkinsville; several nieces and nephews, uncle and aunts also survive.

Funeral service was 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6 at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with burial to follow at Bethlehem Cemetery.
