Virginia “Ginny” Doss (1941 – 2025)

Virginia “Ginny” Doss, 84, of Scottsville, Ky., passed away Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025 at The Medical Center at Scottsville. The Scottsville, native was a daughter of the late Clifton Reed Steenbergen and Sally Irene Fisher Steenbergen and wife of the late Joe Lewis Doss.

She is survived by one son: Tommy Doss, Scottsville, one daughter, Carolyn Sue Crowder, Lafayette, Tenn.; one step daughter, Sharon Bland, Warrington, England; one sister: Eunice Foley, Indianapolis, Ind.; four grandchildren; one unborn great granddaughter; one step granddaughter; two step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Funeral service was noon Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Harper officiating and burial in the Underwood Cemetery.
