Hollis E. Groce (1961 – 2025)

Hollis E. Groce, 63, of Scottsville, Ky., passed away Thursday, Aug. 14, 2025 at Select Specialty Midtown Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.  The Burkesville, Ky., native was a son of the late Edward Joseph Groce and Anna Robin Marie Hardin Groce.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Groce, Scottsville; one daughter: Robin Marie Groce, Scottsville; one step son, Chris Stephens, Scottsville; one step daughter: Tammy Nichols, Lafayette, Tenn.; one brother, Troy Groce, Scottsville; three sisters: Wonzie Strode, Scottsville; Eutiva Dodson, Kentucky; Monnie Arms, Columbia, Ky.; two sisters-in-law: Jane Groce, Louisville, Ky. and Connie Groce, Scottsville; two grandchildren; two unborn great grandchildren; four step grandchildren; and four step great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.

Funeral service was noon Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Riddle officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens.
