Danny Kerry Horne (1947 – 2025)

Danny Kerry Horne, 77 of Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., passed away Wednesday evening, September 10, 2025 at Hospice House in Warren County, Ky.

Funeral Services for Danny Kerry Horne were conducted Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025, at 3 pm from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, Tenn., with Rev. Billy Freeman Jr. officiating. Interment followed in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.

Troy Bohanan, Jason Bohanan, Brad Murphy, Timothy Hackett, Ira D. Meador, and Nicky Wayne Lee served as pallbearers. Jack Carlisle, Dustin Cheek and Brandon Lewis served as honorary pallbearers.

Danny Kerry Horne, was born November 9, 1947 in Monroe County, Ky., to the late Charles Welch and Ina Ree Shockley Horne and departed this life September 10, 2025 at the age of 77 years, 10 month and one day. He married the love of his life, Bobbie Ann Bohanan, on July 31, 1965. They shared 60 wonderful years together.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Dianna Horne; brother, Gary Horne; and second family, Nick and Auline Lee. Danny worked as an assembly worker at General Electric in Scottsville, Ky., for many years. He was a member of Rough Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Bohanan Horne of the Jimtown Community; daughter, Michelle Cheek and husband, Dewayne of Scottsville; son, Bobby Horne and wife, Jennifer of the Coleytown Community; grandkids, Dustin Cheek, Dalton Cheek, Jamie Lewis and husband, Brandon, Kurstie Horne, Endora Horne, William Horne; great-grandkids, September Lewis, Saige Lewis, Ollie Lewis, Brother, Roger Horne of Scottsville.
