Joshua Michael Purvis (1973 – 2025)

Joshua Michael Purvis, 52, of Scottsville, Ky., passed away Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2025 at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. He was a son of Michael Vernon Purvis, who survives, and the late Connie Elaine Michael Purvis.

He is survived by his life companion,  Angela Schultz, Scottsville; his dad, Mike Purvis, Scottsville; two sons:  Zachary Purvis, Michigan and Vincent Purvis, Scottsville; one daughter, Ava Purvis, Scottsville; two sisters:  Cara Jones, Van, Texas and Crystale Schultz, Scottsville; 1 granddaughter; a special aunt,  Bonnie Bennett, Jonesboro, Ind.; one niece.

He was preceded in death by a brother: Jason Michael Purvis.

Memorial service will be 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025, at Goad Funeral Home.
