John H. “Jack” Trent Jr. (1935 – 2025)

John H. “Jack” Trent Jr., 89, Scottsville, Ky., passed away Monday, Sept. 29, 2025 at his residence. He was a son to the late John Harold Trent Sr. and Ida Wilson Trent.

He is survived by two sons: John H. Trent III, Gardnerville, Nev. and Johnie Trent, Scottsville; one daughter, Geneva Bentley, Scottsville; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Marie Spitler Trent; one daughter, Sue Ann Trent; one son, Naiche Trent; one grandson and one sister.

There will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation was chosen and Goad Funeral Home is in charge the arrangements.
