Linda Garmon (1945 – 2025)

Linda Garmon, 80, of Scottsville, Ky., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025 at Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care.  The Scottsville native was a former cashier at Earl G. Dumplin’s and attended Pleasant Ridge Church.  She was a daughter of the late Roy Clifford Duke and Francis Bruce Howell Duke.

She is survived by two sons: Robby Garmon and wife, Lisa, Scottsville; Wesley Garmon, Owensboro, Ky.; one daughter, Felisha Hanner and husband, Bro. Kenny, Scottsville; one sister-in-law, Nelda Duke, Scottsville; six grandchildren: Brandy Murley and husband, Jeremy; Leslie Stovall and husband, Logan; Kara Cherry and husband, Cody; Logan Garmon and wife, Lauryn; Ryder Garmon and Reece Garmon; five great grandchildren: Lathyn Stovall, Luca Stovall, Adalynn Cherry, Ava Cherry and Emersyn Garmon.

She was preceded in death by one brother: R.C. Duke and one sister: Virginia Smith.

Funeral service was 1 p.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Hanner and Bro. Shane Britt officiating and burial in Maple Grove Cemetery.
