Linda Gail Mathis (1959 – 2025)

Linda Gail Mathis, 65, of Smiths Grove, Ky., passed away Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025 at her residence.  The Beech Grove, Ind., native was a daughter of the late Billy J. Mathis and Donna Jean Sutton Mathis.

She is survived by one son, Jamie Mathis, Scottsville, Ky.; two daughters: Wendy Mathis, Smiths Grove and Karen Carver, Scottsville; two brothers: Jerry Mathis, Russellville, Ky. and Billy Mathis, Somerset, Ky.; two sisters: Sherry Mathis, Smiths Grove and Susan Johnson, Madison, Ind.; 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Cheryl Carver; one son, Jeremy Mathis and ome sister, Karen Mathis Shrum.

Funeral service was 1 p.m. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with burial in Chestnut Point Cemetery.
