Kitty Elmina Wheat (1928 – 2025)

Kitty Elmina Wheat, 97, of  Fountain Run, Ky., passed away Saturday, Nov. 8, at Signature HC of Monroe County, Tompkinsville, Ky.

Elmina was a daughter of the late Pernie (Wheat) and Joe Rigdon.

Elmina is survived by a daughter, Patty Blevins, Fountain Run; grand daughter; great-grandson, great-granddaughter, three  bonus granddaughters, a sister, Polly Wyatt, Fountain Run; two bonus great great grandsons, also many nieces, nephews and friends.

Her parents, Joe and Pernie Rigdon, four brothers and five sisters preceded her in death.

Funeral service was 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 175 Main Street,  Fountain Run. Brothers Terry Mahaney and Ricky Huff officiated. Burial was at Wood Cemetery.
