Deborah Joan Puckett (1946 – 2025)

Deborah Joan Puckett, 79, of Bowling Green, Ky., passed away on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025. She was born on June 21, 1946 to the late Laverne and Dorothy Corn.

Deborah truly loved and cared for her family. One of her favorite ways to show her appreciation was to cook for everyone. When she wasn’t spending time with her family, she enjoyed gardening and was a hard worker putting in windshields.

She is survived by her four loving children: son, Mark Puckett and daughters: Beverly Puckett Massey, Jennetta Stinson and Rhonda Puckett, as well as her sister Carolyn Darnell.

Among her family, Deborah had several grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she adored; grandchildren: Joanna Crossfield (Hunter), Jesse Williams (John T.), Molly Cox, Ashley Kate, Lyric Bailey, Kayla Johansen, Nicole Simpson, Shane Johansen and great grandchildren, Declan Crossfield, Jemma Crossfield, Jordan Williams, John Michael Williams and Chance Akin.

She is reunited with her late husband Arnold Ray Puckett who passed in August 2011, her parents, sister, Brenda Bratcher, brothers, Gene Corn and Bob Corn and her granddaughter, Erica Bunch.

The funeral service was Thursday, Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Internment will be at Plano Baptist Church Cemetery. Services are entrusted into J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel.
