Norman Wayne Spaulding (1971 – 2025)

Norman Wayne Spaulding, 54, of Indianapolis, Ind. passed away Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025 at his residence.  The Indianapolis native was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran having served in Desert Storm and an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his mother, Teresa Lay, Bowling Green, Ky.; his step mother, Cindy Spaulding, Danville, Ind.; five brothers: Marcus Hancock (Mandy), Bowling Green; Ben Spaulding, Phillip Spaulding, Shane Fleener and Jeremy Fleener, all of Indiania; one sister: Shannon Fleener, Indiana; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Richard Spaulding.

Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date at Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis, Ind., with military honors.  Goad Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
