Eutra Leon Graves (1940 – 2025)

Eutra Leon Graves, 85, of Franklin, Ky., passed away Sunday, Dec. 28, 2025 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, Ky.

He was born in Scottsville, Ky., to the late Hairl Lee Graves and Willie Veachel Hinton Graves. He was a retired employee of Potter & Brumfield, founding member of Stony Point VFD and member of Beech Grove General Baptist Church where he was serving as deacon and former church secretary and cemetery caretaker.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Virginia Graves, Franklin; one son, David Graves and wife, Brenda, Franklin; one brother, Kelly Graves and wife, Hattie, Franklin; two sisters:  Teresa Calvert, Gallatin, Tenn. and Sherry Wimpee and husband, Larry, Scottsville; four grandchildren: Chris Graves, Wes Graves (Tori), Channen Graves (Stacy) and Jordan Graves (Nicole); 10 great grandchildren:  Caiden, Kabrie, Kennedy, Cam, Beckham, Mack, Drake, AnnaJo, Emma Kate and Denver.​​

He was preceded in death by a son, Donnie Graves.

Funeral service was 1 p.m. Thursday at Beech Grove General Baptist Church with Bro. Ryan Whiticker and Bro. Gary Pardue officiating and burial in Beech Grove Cemetery with Bro. Danny Howell officiating.
