Rogerlynne Buchanon Briddon (1955 – 2026)

Rogerlynne Buchanon Briddon, age 71, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026 at Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, Ky.

Born on September 27, 1955 in Scottsville, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Roger Buchanon and Effie Marie Hobdy Buchanon and was preceded in death by her sisters: Geri Smith and Georgianna Fisher.

She is survived by her husband, Don Briddon; brother, John Buchanon (Elizabeth); brother-in-law, Dr. David Smith; nieces and nephews; Shannon Weaver (Mindy), Daniel Fisher (Susanna), Vera Fisher Gosse (Ryan), Anna Fisher Drummond, Jackson Buchanon (Cate), Caroline Buchanon, great nieces and nephews and great great nephews.

Visitation will be Friday Jan. 9, 2026 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at T. W. Crow & Son Funeral Home and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Scottsville First United Methodist Church.

A celebration of life service will be Saturday Jan. 10, 2026 at 1 p.m. at the Scottsville 1st United Methodist Church and burial to follow in the Crescent Hill Cemetery.

Memorial Donations may be made to the Scottsville First United Methodist Church or any local organization.
