Novice Cline Huntsman (1933 – 2026)
Novice Cline Huntsman, 92, of Scottsville, Ky., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026 at The Medical Center at Scottsville.
She was born January 29, 1933 in Allen County to the late Bradie Estell Cline and Pearlie Mae Carter Cline.
She was a member of Hickory Hill Methodist Church where she served as Sunday School treasurer for 38 years until her health would not allow her to attend, and she had to give up that position. She worked 29 years at Scotscraft until it closed and then worked at Alene’s and Crowe’s Clothing Store. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading, working crossword puzzles and spending time with her children, grandchildren and four great grandsons.
Once her health kept declining, she was moved to Cal Turner Rehab and Specialty Care. There she participated in bingo, crafts, water painting and coloring. One of her favorite places besides church was the Allen County Public Library.
She is survived by her three children: Debbie Tabor and husband, Nathan and Mike Huntsman, all of Scottsville and Kim Henson; five grandchildren: Lori Hagins (Mark), Auburndale, Fla.; Lindsey Vick (Michael) and Cybile Peay (Mikey), all of Scottsville; Mitch Henson (Kristin) and Travis Henson, all of Bowling Green, Ky.; four great grandsons: Madison and Brayden Vick and Brixxon and Audrix Peay; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, James L. Huntsman and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral service was 11 a.m. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick and Bro. Maxie McGuffey officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens.
