Sue Cline Shockley (1943 – 2026)

Sue Cline Shockley, 82, of Adolphus, Ky., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.  The Scottsville, Ky., native was a 1961 graduate of Allen County High, homemaker, former employee of Scotscraft and attended Franklin Church of God.  She was a daughter of the late Ola Dee Cline and Loyce Margaret Douglas Cline.

She is survived by her husband of 62 and a half years, Buel Shockley, Adolphus; one son,  Robbin Shockley, Adolphus; two daughters:  Melissa Raby and husband, Scott, Franklin, Ky. and Chandra Hand, Adolphus; two grandchildren:  Dustin Hand, Lebanon, Tenn. and Meredith Raby, Franklin; two brothers-in-law: Ray McGuffey, Adolphus and Terry Shockley and wife, Jo, Frankfort; one sister-in-law, Jane Shockley, Scottsville.

She was preceded in death by one sister:  Judy McGuffey.

Graveside service was be 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2, 2026 at Crescent Hill Cemetery with Bro. Jeremy Carter officiating and burial to follow in Crescent Hill Cemetery.
