Jo Ava Cherry (1951 – 2026)

Jo Ava Cherry, 74, of Scottsville, Ky., passed away Monday, Feb. 2, 2026 at her daughter’s residence.  She was a daughter to the late Carline Witcher and Dorothy Viola Clark Witcher.

She is survived by one daughter, Lee Ann Myers, Scottsville; one sister, Vicki Stice, Alvaton, Ky.; one brother-in-law; two grandchildren; one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one son; one sister; two brothers-in-law; several other siblings.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Marvey B. Wood officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.
