Lois Jean Jansen (1949 – 2026)

Lois Jean Jansen, 76, of Scottsville, Ky., passed away Monday, Feb. 2, 2026, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.  She was born  to the late George Edward Larison and Helen Elizabeth Koen Larison.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Leroy Lawrence Jansen and a son, Brian Jansen.

She is survived by a daughter,  Krista Soelke, Bowling Green, Ky.; one son,  Bruce Jansen, Scottsville; two sisters:  Norma Harrison, Herrin, Ill. and Doris Harrison, Hurst, Ill.; four grandchildren; one great granddaughter.

Funeral mass was noon Saturday at Christ The King Catholic Church with Father Tom Buckman officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens.
