Malcom Thompson (1948 – 2026)

Malcom Thompson, 78, of Scottsville, Ky., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026 at Tri-Star Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.

The Scottsville native was a son of the late Lester Edgar Thompson and Wavie Jeanette Williams Thompson.

He is survived by his wife, Patty Thompson, Scottsville; one son, Anthony Thompson and wife, Darla, Scottsville; one brother, Oscar Thompson, Scottsville; three sisters; one grandson; his mother-in-law; four brothers-in-law:; one sister-in-law; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, one brother, two sisters, one sister-in-law, his father-in-law three brothers-in-law.

Funeral service was noon Monday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. David Towe officiating and burial in Red Hill Cemetery.
