Charlotte Faye Rippy (1945 – 2026)

Charlotte Faye Rippy, 80, of Scottsville, Ky., passed away Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Scottsville was a homemaker, member of East Willow Church of God and former member of Robert’s Tabernacle Church of God of Prophecy.  She was a daughter of the late Johnnie Bratton Huffines and Minnie Ethel Edens Huffines and wife of the late Norman Eugene Rippy.

She is survived by her daughter, Lesa Cross and husband, Martin, Hendersonville, Tenn.; one sister,  Peggy Eaton, Scottsville; four grandchildren:  Jacob Durham (Chelsea), Lucas Durham (Haley), Ryan Cross and Brent Cross (Madeline); three great grandchildren:  Reed Durham, McKenna Cross and Lucy Durham.

She was preceded in death by a son, Tracy Rippy and a brother,  Danny Huffines (Margaret).

Funeral service was 1 p.m. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick and Bro. Terry Bear officiating and burial in Robert’s Tabernacle Cemetery.  Visitation was 3-7 p.m. Tuesday an after 10 a.m. Wednesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
