Mary Carter Collins (1949 – 2024)

Mary Carter Collins, 75, of Scottsville, Ky., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024 at Hospice House in Bowling Green.  The Scottsville native was a homemaker and daughter of the late Billy Ray Carter and Shirley Stinson Carter and wife of the late Buddy Wayne Collins.

She is survived by two sons: Jeff Collins (Kim), Adolphus, Ky.; Chad Collins (Amy), Scottsville; one son-in-law: Wesley Jackson, Scottsville; one brother, Joe Carter, Scottsville; six sisters: Reta Goad (Tommy), Suzy Blankenship (Freddie), Lori Pennington (George), Lana Stovall (Scotty), Amanda Holland (Lee), all of Scottsville; Sarah Carter (Robin), White House, Tenn.; five grandchildren: Jessica, Cory, Lucas, Katie and Hunter; one great grandchild: Billy Wayne Collins and several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jodi Jackson; one sister, Libby Frost and one brother, Elzie Ray Carter.

Funeral service was 11 a.m. Monday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Jeremy Carter officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens.
