James Dee Mahaney (1962 – 2025)

James Dee Mahaney, 63, of Scottsville, Ky., passed away Friday, Sept. 5, 2025, at his residence. He was a son to the late Hubert See Mahaney and Lois M. Jenkins Mahaney, who survives.

He is survived by his companion: Doris Mahaney, Scottsville; his mother: Lois Mahaney, Scottsville; one brother, William Mahaney, Scottsville; one sister, Laura Simmons, Scottsville; one brother-in-law:  Timmy Graves, Plainfield, Ind.; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Graves.

Funeral service was 2 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Barry Browning and Bro. Chris Calvert officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens.
