Bobby Joe Calhoun (1955 – 2025)

Bobby Joe Calhoun, 70, of Scottsville, Ky., and formerly of Leesburg, Ga., passed away Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025 at The Medical Center at Scottsville. The Cordele, Ga., native was a son of the late Felton Lee Calhoun and Lillian Louise Smith Calhoun.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Laura Calhoun, Scottsville, Ky.;one daughter, Stacy Ratliff, Alvaton, Ky.; one son, Scott Calhoun, San Diego, Calif.; two brothers: Danny Calhoun, Leesburg, Ga., and Buddy Calhoun, Georgia; one sister, Vickie White and, Albany, Ga.; one grandchild..

He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.

Memorial service was noon Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Nick Gregory officiating.
